Headline: Facility Maintenance & Support Assistant (Fixed Term) – 40 Hours Mon-Fri
Job Purpose
We need a hands-on "all-rounder" to help us achieve a world-class standard of operational readiness. This role is about more than just cleaning; it’s about taking ownership of our facility, fixing minor issues independently, and jumping in to support our production and warehouse teams whenever needed.
The "No Boss" Mindset
In this role, you don't need a "boss" looking over your shoulder; you see work and you do it safely. You’ll be trusted to manage your daily tasks independently, from deep-cleaning the yard to fixing a broken shelf or helping the production team during a busy shift.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- The Big Reset: Leading a deep-clean and organisational overhaul of the factory and yard.
- Fix-It Tasks: Handling minor repairs independently (painting, basic carpentry, etc.).
- Team Support: Providing cross-functional assistance to our wider team.
- Safety Ownership: Keeping our environment hazard-free and high-functioning at all times.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years in a factory/industrial environment with handyman skills.
- Attitude: You are self-motivated, accountable, and take pride in a tidy, well-run site.
- Requirements: A valid NZ Class 1 Driver’s License and physical fitness for manual work.
Details:
- Rate: $24 – $26 per hour (based on experience).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Term: 6-Month Fixed Term project (with high potential extensions).
