WE’RE HIRING: HR BUSINESS PARTNER
Supervisory Level | Philippines | Hybrid
Go Further With Addiction Foods
At Addiction Foods, we believe in going further — not only for pets, but also in how we build our teams, improve the way we work, and support our people.
We are looking for a hands-on and people-focused HR Business Partner who can work closely with managers and employees while helping strengthen our HR practices as the business continues to evolve.
This is a supervisory-level individual contributor role suited for an experienced Senior HR Generalist, HR Supervisor, or developing HR Business Partner who is ready to take greater ownership and become a trusted HR partner to the business.
What You’ll Do
As an HR Business Partner at Addiction Foods, you will:
- Serve as a key HR contact for managers and employees on day-to-day people matters.
- Guide managers on employee relations, attendance, performance concerns, documentation, and appropriate HR processes.
- Support employee investigations, performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and workplace concerns, escalating complex or high-risk cases when necessary.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment requirements, candidate selection, and onboarding.
- Support workforce requirements and help managers identify practical people solutions.
- Maintain accurate employee information and ensure proper management of HRIS records and employee documentation.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, regularization, movement, changes in employment, and offboarding.
- Provide backup payroll support and help ensure the accuracy of employee, attendance, and payroll-related information.
- Support HR policy implementation, compliance monitoring, and audit-ready HR documentation.
- Participate in employee engagement, communication, culture, and employee experience initiatives.
- Use automated HR systems, dashboards, digital tools, and AI responsibly to improve efficiency and support better HR decisions.
- Review existing automated processes and identify opportunities to make them more effective, rather than reverting to unnecessary manual work.
- Support HR improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve.
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
- Experience as a Senior HR Generalist, HR Supervisor, HR Officer, or junior HR Business Partner.
- Hands-on experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, HR operations, HRIS, and manager support.
- Good working knowledge of Philippine labor requirements and HR compliance.
- Confidence in communicating with employees and managers at different levels.
- Strong judgment, confidentiality, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
- The ability to independently handle day-to-day HR matters while recognizing when escalation is required.
- Comfort working with technology, automated processes, and AI-enabled tools.
The HR Partner We Want at Addiction Foods
We are looking for someone who can balance people and business needs.
Someone who is:
- Approachable, but objective.
- Organized, but adaptable.
- Supportive, but willing to challenge constructively.
- Process-driven, but always looking for a better way.
- You should be comfortable moving from an employee concern to recruitment, a performance discussion, payroll checking, an HR system issue, or a process-improvement project — while maintaining accuracy, fairness, and professionalism.
AI Adaptability Matters
You do not need to be an AI expert.
What matters is your willingness to learn and your ability to use automation, AI, and digital HR tools responsibly to work smarter — while keeping sound judgment, confidentiality, fairness, and the human side of HR at the center of every decision.
Why Addiction Foods?
This role gives you the opportunity to move beyond purely transactional HR work and develop into a stronger business partner — while remaining close enough to employees and operations to see the impact of your work.
If you enjoy taking ownership, solving people-related challenges, improving processes, and helping managers make better people decisions, we’d like to hear from you.
