IT Helpdesk (Part-Time | Remote)

Schedule: 4–6 hours per day | Monday to Friday

We're currently looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to support our global remote workforce. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, working independently, and taking ownership of IT support activities in a remote environment.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support, monitor company systems, manage IT assets, and help maintain a secure and reliable IT environment for employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, email, remote access, and network-related concerns.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across business applications.
- Monitor devices and endpoints using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools.
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system patching.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote access.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and company-issued assets.
- Assist with equipment deployment, retrieval, and occasional onsite asset verification.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, antivirus, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and user awareness.
- Maintain documentation for incidents, procedures, and technical guides.
- Provide support during system implementations, upgrades, and other IT projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role.
- Experience supporting users in a remote or work-from-home environment.
Working knowledge of:
- Remote troubleshooting tools.
- RMM platforms.
- Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
- Windows operating systems.
- Basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- IT asset management.
- Endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and service management processes is an advantage.
