Order Management & Logistics Manager
Order Management | Process Improvement | Automation | Global Logistics
Remote / Work From Home
Department: Supply Chain
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Job
Addiction Pet Foods is looking for an experienced Order Management & Logistics Manager who can do more than run existing processes — we need someone who can improve, redesign, and automate them.
This role will lead our end-to-end order management and logistics operations, covering the order lifecycle from order entry through shipment and final delivery across multiple international markets.
A major priority of the role is to assess our current order management workflows, identify bottlenecks and manual processes, and build or improve critical parts of the order-to-delivery process using technology, automation, standardization, and better data visibility.
We are looking for someone with proven hands-on experience improving order management processes — whether through ERP workflow improvements, SAP automation, EDI, system integrations, automated controls, dashboards, or redesigned operational processes.
You should be equally comfortable managing day-to-day order execution and leading process transformation.
What You’ll Do:
Lead End-to-End Order Management:
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have:
- 5–7+ years of experience in Order Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong end-to-end understanding of order management and order-to-delivery processes.
- Proven experience building, redesigning, or significantly improving critical order management workflows.
- Demonstrated experience identifying inefficient/manual processes and implementing practical improvements.
- Hands-on experience with order management automation, ERP workflow improvement, or systems integration.
- Strong SAP ERP experience, ideally involving SAP SD/MM or order-to-cash processes.
- Strong understanding of international logistics and export operations.
- Experience in FMCG or export-intensive manufacturing environments.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
- Ability to work with multiple functions, markets, and time zones.
Strong Advantage:
Experience with one or more of the following:
- EDI integration.
- API/system integrations.
- SAP workflow automation.
- Automated order acknowledgements.
- Automated approval or exception workflows.
- ERP-to-3PL integration.
- Freight audit automation.
- Power BI or Tableau dashboards.
- Lean / Six Sigma process improvement.
- Global trade or customs technology.
- Workflow automation tools.
The Experience We Particularly Want to See
We are especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate examples such as:
“I inherited a manual or inefficient order management process, identified the root problems, redesigned the workflow, introduced automation or system controls, implemented the change, and delivered a measurable improvement.”
Examples could include:
- Reducing order processing time.
- Automating previously manual order-entry activities.
- Reducing order or documentation errors.
- Improving order status visibility.
- Building an order management workflow from the ground up.
- Implementing EDI or system integrations.
- Eliminating duplicate data entry.
- Improving exception management.
- Automating customer or internal order updates.
- Improving perfect-order or on-time-delivery performance.
- Creating dashboards and operational controls.
- Standardizing previously fragmented processes across markets or teams.
We are looking for someone who has actually delivered this type of improvement — not someone who has only participated in a transformation project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
- SAP, export logistics, trade compliance, Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, or related certifications are an advantage.
What Success Looks Like:
The successful person will help us achieve:
- Faster and more reliable order processing.
- Fewer manual touchpoints.
- Reduced order and documentation errors.
- Better order and shipment visibility.
- Stronger process controls and SOPs.
- Improved integration between teams and systems.
- Higher order fulfillment and customer service performance.
- Increased use of automation across order management.
- More scalable processes as the business grows.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
You are likely to succeed if you are:
- Process-minded: You naturally question why work is done manually or inefficiently.
- Technology-savvy: You understand how ERP systems, automation, integration, and data can improve operations.
- Hands-on: You can design improvements but are also willing to work directly with the process.
- Analytical: You use data to identify problems and measure results.
- Detail-oriented: You understand that small errors in orders or export documentation can create major downstream problems.
- A strong cross-functional leader: You can align Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and external logistics partners.
- Improvement-driven: You don't simply maintain a process because “that is how it has always been done.”
If you have successfully built, improved, or automated order management workflows and enjoy transforming complex operational processes into simpler, faster, and more reliable ways of working, we would like to hear from you.
